scfs
The lore in Kotor/swtor is awesome and i loves it, its great for its own timeline /storyline. I don't understand why people say its "SAME TIMELINE AS STARWARS!" though, i mean the starwars timeline has hundreds of books/games by lucas arts that are all "IN THE STARWARS TIMELINE" and its pretty obvious theres no way SWTOR obeys all the lore set up by lucas arts in the "future" starwars. Do we just say "Well swtor is right, any flaws from other books/games compared to swtor just means their lore is to be ignored!"?
RiledRodian
Hmm? SWTOR is a Lucas approved franchise, commissioned by LucasArts/LucasFilm LTD and as such is a C-Canon product. The only things that supersede it in matter of continuity conflict are T-Canon or G-Canon licenses.
Omnitheo
Please give me some examples of conflicting continuity, and I will resolve them for you
TorontoTech
What makes you think it's NOT in the same timeline? It takes place roughly 3000 years before The Phantom Menace, and about 300 years after the events of SWKOTOR. It doesn't have to match any of the lore of the future time period simply because none of those events, nor anything that would have precipitated them, has happened yet. That gives Bioware/EA free license to do whatever the frack they want with the stories, as long as they follow cguidelines set down by LucasArts.
