Is it bad to have more than 1 char?

And level them simoultaneously without the legacy system? (I don't know exactly what that is )

 

Thing is that I rolled a sorcerror and im not so sure that he will be my main, its all just dot and force lightning.

 

I might descover my favorite char and the one that resembles my play style in the warrior or the bounty hunter.

 

So is there a disadvantage to rolling alts and lvling them simoultaneosly to find out what's my class? Or should I focus on only one until lvl 30 or something to get the legacy system.

 

And exaclty what the hell is this legacy system?

There is no issue at all with leveling several characters simultaneously.

 

I stated a Smuggler. Shes LS. I then stared a DS Trooper. My Smuggler has Armstech and Slicing, so I wanted another character for Scavenging (my Trooper).

 

I don't know much about the Legacy system, sorry.

You unlock your legacy after Alderaan when you finish up your first Act/chapter and it basically only adds a last name to all your characters for now. However, after unlocking it, you can level it up on any character just by doing quests and anything you would do normally to level up. As of now the legacy system is pretty useless as I said earlier since it's only used to give yourself a last name. Later on though, I believe you will be able to unlock character customization options and legacy abilities (possibly be able to level faster on characters?).

 

 

Regarding the original question though, no your legacy probably will not be affected that much by having multiple characters since the amount of experience you gain at that low of a level is hardly anything (I got 5 legacy levels going from 40-50 and only 1 going from when I first got it to 40). Also, I've made three new characters now and gotten them all to at least level 15 and my legacy experience bar has not moved all that much.
