Be less miserable and just enjoy the game

If you rushed, I feel sorry for you, but you missed most of the fun the game has to offer. If you don't like conversations and are looking at a WoW replacement for your endgame raiding itch, this is not the game for you... YET. You will need to wait for content and it's not the developers fault that you chose to skip through everything they worked so hard on. Hitting spacebar to skip all the missions conversations so you can XP faster will have you getting bored very quickly because you've skipped what sets this MMO apart from the rest.

I just want to say that I am having a great time in game with real life friends and new SWTOR friends that I've met in game. I am enjoying so many aspects of the game and I'm moving at a comfortable pace that I feel good about.

My advice is to try to focus on the things that you like about the game and dwell on them. If you like nothing about the game, once again I'm sorry that you didn't research the game enough before buying because I knew exactly what I was getting. The perfect mix between a single and multiplayer game. I've been waiting for a game like this for over 10 years and never even knew it.

Thank you Bioware for giving me what I wanted even though I never knew this was the answer.

Ha! Ya, I remember those that rushed in Age of Conan through content...but there was almost no content to rush through. They literally did "grind parties" at the wagons in the mountains to get to the highest level. Why? To raid. HOWEVER, the raids were broken. The main one closed and the giant frost worm was broken where he spawned an infinite amount of adds and wouldn't die. Fun times.

I understand that people will continue to whine but I feel like it takes an extra bit of action to post something positive on the forums. I just feel like people need to understand that there might be potential subscribers looking at the game forums and will only see a bunch of complaining and turn the other way. I honestly didn't like the development direction this game was going but was pleasantly surprised when I actually played it. There needs to be more constructive ideas and less self entitled complaining and whining. I'm glad to see some other people share my perspective.

Thinking about it now Age of Conan was probably the best 1 - 20 leveling experience I've ever had, until now that is. AoC had a great story for the first 20 levels. Made you feel really connected to the world, then after level 20 they dump you in a large area and have you do quests with no voiceovers. It's amazing what a little voiceover work will do for an MMO. I"m so glad SWTOR is doing things the way it is. I love it.
