KotFE - Chapter XIV Mandalore's Revenge - Base Commander Bug - Can't Progress.

Hi there

 

First off, apologies for sort of double posting. I necro'd an old thread on this to point out it was still bugged but thought it warranted a new thread all the same.

 

The Base Commander droid mission phase is bugged for me, and I'm on my second round of the chapter, and it's bugged again. As I understand it, skytroopers are meant to come in waves, the base commander droid puts up an energy shield and you have to defeat the waves to get break the shield and eventually kill it.

 

But the skytroopers stop arriving and I'm stuck with the Base Commander Droid, undamageable with it's shield up and no way to get past this point in the mission.

 

/stuck doesn't work, it simply puts the droid back to full health but it's shield is still up and no skytroopers arrive. If I change the phase difficulty it will simply make me restart the chapter again.

 

This is infuriating. Presumably I have to keep retrying the chapter till I find an unbugged version?

 

Anyway, I'm stuck in my story progression it seems.

 

So this is a bug report and a request for help/advice.

I was able to get past the bug by quitting the game, logging back in and to my relief, the Chapter hadn't reset. The instanced phase had respawned mobs and the Base Commander had reset. I just killed it as quickly as I could withe all my heroics and that did the trick.

 

But that's a work around of course.

I had to reset the entire chapter by changing the difficulty to wipe all progress. It sucked but nothing else worked for me. not /stuck, not leaving the chapter and re-entering the chapter. not quitting the game and relogging. The only thing that solved it was wiping all my progress from that chapter and re-doing it.

Leaving the instance and resetting the phase helped. Droids were respawned, and the Commander reset.
