Just_a_Theory Posted March 8, 2021 Posted March 8, 2021 Not exactly a new player, but haven't played in almost 9 years so... I've been using Treasure Hunting for my char doing Artifice. The longer I play, the more useless it seems. What am I missing? What should I be crafting that I'm not? Some stuff requires 1 or 2 gemstones, but that's it. Also, what is better end-game, Treasure Hunting or Slicing, given I'm doing Artifice?

Whatever mats you need for a schematic can be either directly obtained by doing crafting missions, or by simply buying the mats from the GTN (or with Jawa scraps). Meanwhile, any crafting missions can get you mats to use directly, or to sell on the GTN to make the credits to buy the mats you need. Slicing is handy in many Flashpoints for operating elevators and such. Personally, I only use Artifice (at this time) to make dyes for my own use, and I can't really even say what mats I use most.
