When you hover over some gear in your inventory it really helpfully compares it to what you are already wearing. However, it would be useful if when you had the Companion tab open that it compared the item in inventory to their current gear, not your own. The number of times I've been comparing some heavy armour for the Trandoshan against my own Consular robe continues to climb, yes I should learn but I imagine I'm not the only one?
