RenegadeInvictus Posted January 6, 2021 Posted January 6, 2021 The Ancient Sith Lord Warblade being mounted on the hip is a good start, I'm going to lead with that. However, I really must request that at least some other vibroblades be hip-mounted. The Ancient Force Imbued weapon, for example, really ought to be. The ancient Jed'aii (and Jedi/Sith in general) are explicitly based on Samurai, with the obvious influence of a katana being in that item. In fact, if you look up the old art for the Force Wars of Tython, the groups that become the Jedi and the Sith are outright using katanas with glowing auras of force energy around them. It looks ridiculous moving and fighting with these weapons mounted on the shoulder rather than being drawn from the hip. Twon-handed weapons, fine. Even if they clip badly, having a lightpike or a cathar warstaff on the characters back only makes sense, but there is a reason drawing long-bladed weapons non-polearm weapons (anything longer than a large dagger or shortsword) from the back never caught on. Its too long to draw it properly over the shoulder, unless your arms can extend One Piece style. And lets face it, the clipping is horrific. While we're at it, lets have more armor that gives you the option to have the hood down! So many awesome looking armors that force you to have a hood. I mean, its probably way to hard to have the characters hair inside the hood, for some reason, so at least let us not have the hood up at all!
DarkTergon Posted January 6, 2021 Posted January 6, 2021 I'd like to see an option where you could choose, say when you first bind it to you, it gives you an option to sheath it on your hip, or back. No idea if the could or would. But if it's possible, I'd be up for that.
