I find this flashpoint very difficult. Can someone let me know if in fact it is set for story mode when you launch it. Seems like playing Veteran Mode plus. My Characters are all set for Story Mode for Mission Difficulty Preference. Your response will be well appreciated.

If you're playing for the story, you need it set to {SOLO] mode, not [sTORY] (which is for playing solo when you're not interested in the story).(1)

 

And yes, it's tuned hard enough to squeak in a few places, but it is a solo-for-story mode. Control your rate of advance to avoid over-aggroing enemies, especially in the big room after the kitchen. (I got stomped in that room the first time I went in, because I managed to aggro what felt like about half the room. I jumped back in, but advanced much more slowly and got through without further problem.)

 

Bear in mind that it is level 75 content, so it's not synced, so if you've been a bit slow gearing up your Item Rating (on the "everything's synced, no point" basis), now is the time to get back to gearing. I've done it so far on Infiltration Shadow (306, no set bonus gear), with a Vengeance Jugg (306, no set bonus) and another Infiltration Shadow (306, 6-part Death Knell) queued up to be next.

Thankyou for your response. I made sure I talked to Shae before entering the Flash Point and it was as it says solo story mode. Finally made it through it was a tough battle. Thanks again.
