TheVirJhin Posted December 16, 2020 Posted December 16, 2020 Hello there, I have an Imperial LS Sith Inquisitor who's created an Imperial Guild but I want the character to side with the Republic after KOTET. How will this affect my Imperial Guild?

SteveTheCynic Posted December 17, 2020 Posted December 17, 2020 It makes no difference. Sort of. There is an effect, but it's more general than just guilds. In the Iokath daily area, characters make groups according to the side they chose to back, not their original faction, so if you are the only one in an Imp guild who chose Pub, you'll have problems running content as a guild *on*Iokath* (including the Gods operation). To change that, you can go to the terminal in the middle of the Alliance base and choose your allegiance for the day.

Except that Iokath has nothing to do with being a saboteur as that came about with Jedi Under Siege. An Imperial character can side with the Empire on Iokath and still be a saboteur. And regardless of which faction you do support during the Iokath story you can always go to that terminal and fight for the other side. Edited December 17, 2020 by ceryxp

True, but "after KotET" (that the OP mentioned) includes the Iokath stuff.
