TyrFoge
With the jump from 500 to 600 Artifice only getting blue/gray and gray blue is a pretty huge let down. Please and I cannot beg hard enough give us a whole slew of uniform, primary, and secondary dyes? I find myself continuously looking at the limited options we have have for outfits that would look great with just a primary or secondary dye and always being let down by the handful of choices that we have. Not to mention only having medium gray/medium gray uniform dye is absurd. I get the white/white, blue/blue, black/black, are CM items only fine I use those a lot too but not even brown, green, yellow, purple, orange, red?? Makes no sense. QuiDonJorn
I'd also very much like it if they'd start breaking up some or all of the new subdued colors into primary and secondary modules. The tans, browns, blue-grays, orangey-reds, olive greens etc; etc. Also just more of them. Like the Honorable General brown with a light gray (black/white not green). Also, that same brown with a sandy beach tan would be nice too.
Xina_LA
I really wish they'd re-do the entire system to have two dye slots -- Primary and Secondary. The color combinations we have now... half of them look terrible no matter what you stamp them on. Also, many outfits have bits where the color doesn't change, so you have to match that with both colors of whatever dye you pick, complicating matters. It would be much easier if you could pick any color as just Primary or Secondary. If BioWare wants me to spend more real money on Cartel Coins, they'll expand the Dye system. If I can't make the outfit look cool or at least a little more unique to me, I'm not going to buy it. In other words, if it dyes well, it sells well. At the very least, they need to release ALL the colors in Primary and Secondary variants. Edited January 22, 2020 by Xina_LA
turbomagnus
And tinting. I've noticed that some outfit pieces seem to have an innate tint to them that alters the tone of a color; apply the same dye color to two different outfit pieces (or a chestpiece and then use the match colors button) and they'll end up with different tones because one is tinted. Tinting is all well and good for 'natural' outfit pieces, but dyes really need to override it otherwise it can defeat half the purpose of using them.
