New Idea for Weapon Tunings

So I for one am not the biggest fan of the current weapon tunings, I don't see much point to them aside from the strap tuning making one's rifles look a bit more true to form. What I would like to see though, are audio weapon tunings that change how a weapon sounds when fired, rather than how it looks.

There are so many weapons in this game that sound so goofy when you fire your blaster or swing your lightsaber. But if you have a favorite? Why not have the option to slot a tuning that will change how it sounds rather than adding a visual effect instead?

Expanding on this idea, one could do the same for helmets that have voice filters. Love your helmet, but hate how it makes your character sound when they speak? Slot a tuning into that as well to change it to the way you want it.

I agree that audio tunings (in a *new* slot rather than in the visual-tuning slot, I think) would be an interesting idea. Many Assault Cannons lack ... authority, let's say, in their sounds. They look awesome, but sound like wet noodles.

However, you've (almost) missed the essential point of visual tunings. They are there to add a little something to the look of a weapon. Example: https://i.imgur.com/8D3RHm5.jpg

The armour is Tactical Infantry dyed "Squad Officer", a rather murky set of brown and grey, and the weapon is the Furious Gladiator Assault Cannon with the Incinerator tuning adding the muzzle flames. Given that the character is an Assault Specialist Commando, a Pubside megapyromaniac's dream spec, Incinerator definitely adds something.

No I get the point of the visual tunings. It's just to me they look silly lol
