The Star Wars universe celebrates, as a result of the infamous "Star Wars Holiday Special"(1), a thing called Life Day, with blatant conceptual similarities to Christmas. Because it was originally inserted as a "Holiday Special" (the Holiday in question being Christmas, evidently), SWTOR uses it as the in-game event that corresponds to Christmas, just as GW2 has a Christmas-timed event called Wintersday. Monumenta Posted December 25, 2019 Share Posted December 25, 2019 Because it was originally inserted as a "Holiday Special" (the Holiday in question being Christmas, evidently) It aired on Nov 17th so I think Life Day was meant to be a nondenominational representation of our entire human holiday Peanuts special season from Thanksgiving to New Years, much like a Starbucks cup from nowadays.
