If I subscribe to the game and start a character on SW:TOR vanilla can I convert to Knights of the Fallen Empire or Onslaught when I am done with the vanilla content? Or is it all already in the world and I can seamlessly move around it? If you ever stop subscribing, you'll still have access to everything you played while a subscriber. So if you finish Onslaught, all of your characters can run KoTFE, KoTET, Iokath, Ossus, Onderon, etc. It's awesome.
