Here's wishing the development team the best of luck to continue to learn , grow, (and yes make mistakes) .. and grow even more ! So much has changed over the years. Overall most of it for the best ! Life itself is what you make it ! This game is no exception ! And yes .. many of us have a "wish list" we'd love to see develop before too long ! You'll find mine in a separate thread … called "Wish list for 2020". I appreciate so much of this game! And I look forward to continue to enjoy so much more in the future. Same here...I've taken a break here and there but SWTOR has always managed to draw me back =. The Content, the community and the continuing commitment to improve the game make it still one of the best MMOs on the market and THE place to scratch your Star Wars itch. sirjohnpat Posted December 31, 2019 Share Posted December 31, 2019 I have loved this game since it first was in beta, it's had some bumpy times but with the heart and soul put into the game from the amazing people of SWTOR, I hope it lasts many more years. This game means more to me than any other game out there. I have had a lot of medical issues and I can always jump on and the pain and problems go away for a little while. I am so grateful for this game and the people who work on it they deserve a big Thanks for all their hard work. Again thank you to SWTOR keep strong. Storm-Cutter Posted January 3, 2020 Share Posted January 3, 2020 (edited) I'm still here after 8 years. Sadly none of my IRL friends are - the very ones that got me into this game in the first place. So many nights of plotting and planning and experiencing everything. Chatting, socialising, making new friends and new characters..... Now it's just me. Everyone else left after KotFE launched and I can't persuade them back. They think it jumped the shark and went into decline then. - and in many ways it did. I don't think they'll ever be back. BioWare went down a path that they couldn't follow. I jumped to PVP and though it's still not perfect and sometimes very frustrating, at least it keeps me entertained. - though not for the hours on end it once did. I do a daily most days and that's my lot. It's never the same with online friends. Though they are some of the nicest people. Those late night FPs and Ops without simultaneously larking about in voice chat are not the same on one's own. Sad really. Watching a game that could have been epic slowly spiral downward to this.
