Sith_Holocron Posted December 11, 2019 Posted December 11, 2019 There have been many items that have been phased out from the game since launch. Would it not be a good idea to have the VIP goods vendor and the Collector's Edition Vendor sell some of these items (and perhaps other exclusives) to actually drive a small amount of traffic to the VIP Lounge? It's pretty much a dead area as it now stands. BioWare wouldn't even need to drop the new items all at once, instead putting each new set of items in a limited time rotation. That would give folks a reason to come back each month and if folks missed it, they'd know the items would be back eventually. Let's be honest here: the VIP Goods Vendor has only has the one (not especially exciting) Tirsa Prime speeder for sale since launch. For those that have paid for access to the VIP launch - or earned it by getting the CE - why not reward those dedicated players? Also, wouldn't a VIP Lounge Member title be an interesting item?

New items are long overdue... also... It s a VIP Area and there s not even a guild / legacy storage around... not very VIP-y if you ask me and not really worth the 1 mill admission price And while we re at it, lets add a guild / legacy storage in the Cartel Bazaar area too

Above all, though, it is, indeed, not a good idea to add those old items to the CE vendor, since access to that vendor is for CE owners only, and any item added only to that vendor is essentially still unavailable, and there's no real point in adding the items to *both* vendors.

Solid point, maybe the old items on the VIP vender, however in the CE addition vender it has decent stuff somewhat, I think though that maybe a better idea is add current crate items to the Bazaar venders for Capped Rep and Certs. like they have done with the past crates, not all items but a way for people to get their desired items without spending 200m on some of them. again gated of course to rep and certs but, just a way to make it achievable to a lot of people who don't have that many credits. oh and it obviously doesn't unlock the items in the Collections, just a thought

I have always had an issue with venders full stop. BW add venders irrelevant on if it's an inclusive vender only open to a set number of players or one open to anyone or items dependant on rep points, it needs to be updated or there was little point in having the vender(s) in the first place. Now take the life day and anniversary venders, each year they have had new items, which is good but that does not change that almost all the others have never had an update. that's not good and in many ways kinda of a two finger salute to the players that either brought something or worked to get rep points. More so if rep points had to be paid for with real money as so many were in the early days. Even more so as in those early days you got them regardless of if you wanted them or not in cartel packs. To me if BW are going to keep adding new venders then BW also need to add to them and make them worth having in game, even if that's only once per year.
Xina_LA Posted December 12, 2019 Posted December 12, 2019 (edited) I'd like the VIP Lounge a lot better if the million credits unlocked the elevator for my legacy. These days, I have way too many characters to want to unlock it for all of them. An updated vendor would be nice. But if you really want everybody to race for the top, put in working Dejarik tables.
