Xina_LA Posted October 6, 2019 Posted October 6, 2019 I checked everything in my collections. Pets, armor, color crystals, toys, etc. Maybe one out of 30 items is showing up with the red discount flag and reduced price. It seems totally random. What's going on?

What's going on? i believe its because its a legacy sale, not collections unlock, expect a collection unlock soon. Edited October 6, 2019 by SaerethDL
Xina_LA Posted October 7, 2019 Author Posted October 7, 2019 Good to know but... what's a Legacy sale? What's on sale, then?
SaerethDL Posted October 7, 2019 Posted October 7, 2019 Good to know but... what's a Legacy sale? What's on sale, then? go in your cartel marketplace and type in search "Legacy" it will show you all the legacy items on sale. Basically races, storage, mount speeds and stuff like that.
DarkTergon Posted October 7, 2019 Posted October 7, 2019 Good to know but... what's a Legacy sale? What's on sale, then? Basically, it's the stuff in the cartel market that you can use to unlock legacy items on your toons. There's also other unlocks on sale too, but it's only cartel available on the cartel market, and doesn't apply to collection unlocks, as already said. But hopefully a collections unlock will be coming up soon, i've already several items on my shopping
Xina_LA Posted October 7, 2019 Author Posted October 7, 2019 Aren't some of those a bit misleading? I bought a Legacy upgrade once and it only applied to the toon that activated it. I had assumed anything that had "Legacy" in the name was an unlock for the... you know... legacy.

A lot of people haven been confused by it.
Xina_LA Posted October 8, 2019 Author Posted October 8, 2019 (edited) Perfect example -- "Legacy Perk: Improved Speeder Piloting #" Description: "Immediately grants the player speeder piloting #." Not the character, the player. But you get a token that one character can use to unlock Speeder Piloting at whatever level you purchased. So both "Legacy" and "player" are completely misleading. I bought this hoping all my toons would start out with Piloting 1. Otherwise I'd have got it for FREE by leveling. Edited October 8, 2019 by Xina_LA
