SteveTheCynic
Operative system: Windows 10 Special condition: Launcher is not stored on the same drive as the operative system. It does the same thing if the launcher *is* stored on the same drive as the operating system, which isn't surprising because the problem does not arise from the *drive* in which the data is stored, but the *directory*. The official documentation on how UAC works is simultaneously complicated and vague, and I'm not sure I found the best page for it. Maybe *you* should have provided a link? Nilatis
this is not the only game where launcher gives popup, not really a bug per se Data should never be stored to the root of the application, which the launcher demands hence the prompt, and you should never ask your clients to turn off their user account security to rectify a junior programmer's mistake.
