Customer Support isn't helping and I don't know what to do

Recommended Posts

My money has been STOLEN by the game. I bought 500 cartel coins to have enough to buy the Clandestine Officer armor set for 1200 cartel coins. I bought it and never got it.

I've already sent three tickets in and they have been closed with the same response that they have verified my problem isn't a problem. I gave them all the proof I have, so much more than they needed to realize that I have been robbed by their system yet they still refuse to give me me a refund or a set.

Here is my ledger

Here are my ingame tabs showing all the proof.

The set is not in my inventory, the unclaimed cartel items, or my collection, it can't be traded so they can't act like i'm hiding it in the mail, and I don't even have my first ship yet for this character due to me being so early in the storyline (look at the mission--start mission for drommund kaas), so I can't hide it in my ship's storage.

Does anyone know anything I can do?

The most important part is to think about the answer to this question:

"Are you logged in on the same character that pressed 'BUY NOW'?"

Each character has its own "Unclaimed items" section and they are completely independent. Log in on the character that pressed "BUY NOW" and check the Unclaimed Items thing there.

If you deleted the character that pressed "BUY NOW", submit a ticket that asks ***politely*** to have the character restored so that you can claim the item. Be painfully and meticulously complete in fhe information you give them, and scrupulously polite. At an absolute minimum, give them:

* The server

* The character's name. If you used accented letters (occasionally and incorrectly called "alt codes" or "special characters(1)), make sure to accurately include *all* the accents.

* The faction, class and (as close as you remember) the level.

* As close as you remember, when you deleted the character.

* Politeness.

Sorry to bang on about politeness. You wouldn't believe the number of people who come on these forums and complain about how Customer Service wasn't very helpful, where it rapidly becomes clear that they started by insulting BioWare, Electronic Arts, the game, and even the parentage of the entire CS department. (The unbelievable part is that the number isn't zero.)

(1) This is a major bête noire (see what I did there?) for me. Even though it isn't my native language, I use French a lot (I live in France, duh), and accented letters in French are, well, ordinary.

Well it wasnt deleted, but did find it on another character. Very weird, I checked the character before making the tickets and it wasn't in the inventory, now it is. I feel stupid now but thanks.

Don't feel stupid. Stuff like that happens to pretty much everyone.
