Help Concerning 'Exploration' Missions

I'd like some input on the 'Exploration' Missions you can do as you play.

- Are they honestly worth doing just for Leveling your Character, or is doing the Class Missions enough?

- Should I boost my acquired gains thru my Legacy unlocks? Or is the Leveling normally enough?

I'm someone who doesn't quite have the time to do everything in this game, but I also don't want to miss out on any gains that could be long term beneficial.

The current *design* is that Class missions and planetary <Story Arc> missions (purple-triangle) are enough by themselves to keep you at a sufficient level for the planets as you go through the class story. You can do Exploration and Side missions if you want, and you will gain levels a bit faster than if you don't use them.

Since experience gain stops when you reach level 70, and it's feasible to do that long before you reach the end of KotET, there's no point from the point of view of levelling. When 6.0 drops in September, much of "at max level" progression will change, at least in detail, so I can't offer any real insight.

Just to add that once you hit 70 you start getting an alternate type of experience called command experience that unlocks certain benefits. For now - this will change in September. So hitting 70 earlier in the story progression is not a bad thing since it enables you to start on this command experience sooner. Also - assuming you have access to all content - you can start the Ossus questline at 70 and get an immediate large improvement in gear. This does not require you to skip earlier content since you can go back and do it after Ossus.
