Problem with logging into the Game

Hello everyone,

I hope this is the right section to ask for help regarding technical problems. I continuously play SWTOR for more than five years now, but yesterday I encountered a problem that I just can’t find a solution for. The loading screen that appears after one presses play, loads for a bit, but then it freezes for ~1min. Then, It continues to load ( little circle in the bottom right corner spins again) and after ~30sec it puts me to the server selection tab, which is completely empty ( no servers shown). No matter what I do, nothing helps me with this. I already checked if all ports of my router are opened, I deleted everything in relation to bitraider, I completely deinstalled my graphics card drivers and tried it with both, the newest and the basic one from microsoft - nothing changes. I reset all my graphic settings to default, no overclocking etc. I have no other anti virus Programm than Firewall, and SWTOR is already on the exceptions list. I run the compatibility mode, but it didn’t help either. I called the support, they couldn’t help me. I reinstalled the entire game, nothing changed. Everything else is working completely fine....

I hope that maybe someone here could help me, or five years of gaming are gone for me I guess.

Sometimes these problems are the result of driver conflicts or glitches which only show up after some sort of program or Windows update (or when some hardware item becomes flaky).

So, first thing to do is to make sure you have the latest drivers for your hardware - all drivers - graphics, audio, chipset, LAN, etc.

Also, clean the dust out of your rig and check that all fans are working properly.
