BenduKundalini
But that you need a minimum total points depending on small, medium and large planet invasion. Planetary Yield targets for Guild Invasions have been reduced for all sizes: Small is now 170,000 Medium is now 550,000 Large is now 1,130,000 I was wondering why my one-man guilds that were in the top 10 for Voss got nothing (despite their little score) Only took me a year... I know this will make me sound like a fool but I'm sure I'm not the only one who missed this "detail" ! TalleraLane
I did know this, you can be in the top 10 and not get rewards at all if your guild does not meet the planet conquest goal. Top 10 really only give achievements now or planetary control for short term benefits for the guild For very small guilds the 170k is still a huge amount. Yes it can be reached but for very small guilds it means conquest is all you can do day after day to get there and nothing else. Which takes away any freedom of choice to do what you want to do in game. This means very small guilds can never really open guildship doors or really benefit from the new guild perks. Considering it takes 200 flagship plans to open 1 door. I fully understood the complaints at the time this was announced. My own guilds are now are just a waste of space, a total waste of the time, money (including real money) I spent getting them. Yet BW still claim this is not an issue for small guilds Why? Oh because they lowered the cost of buying the flagship. Sorry BW but buying the actual flagship was never really the issue. It everything else to do with it. (if a flagship is 8 million and ONE framework is like 40 million, and you need 4 frameworks on average, thats 8 x 5 x 4 million) Do enemy base bosses still drop encryptions and frameworks ? Enemy commanders still drop encryptions and named commander drop flagship plans. You need a few semi-competent players, but any guild that is serious about expanding its flagship can do it like this. They can also craft, grind credits to expand via the GTN. And even a small guild can meet the conquest target reasonably easily...if it's too much of a grind most weeks then pick your weeks and only do it occasionally. If that's all too much of a hassle, then wait and buy a dead guild with an expanded flagship. I think there are enough options to choose from... Personally I'm not a fan of small guilds I admit, medium-large, but not so big you don't know everyone is my personal preference.

I only tried once with a buddy - 2 manned attack on Thorazan, we almost pulled it. Thing is I now have single-player guilds...
Stellarcrusade
The change to eliminate the need to be in the top10 was definitely and improvement to conquest which allows many more guilds to participate. Now if only they would take that good idea and extend it to planet conquest. If planets had a conquest goal amount, many many more guilds would actually work towards that goal also. Xina_LA
I don't think it's fair to say that a small guild can grind credits to expand using Frameworks and Encryptions from the GTN. The average price of an encryption has increased from 200k each to 1 million each. You need 50 of these to make one framework, and 2 - 6 frameworks to unlock a room. The math here is astronomical.
