Screek
I'm really bored in nowdays mmo pvp games, including this one. I was really hoping for some world pvp and reasons to world pvp beside "griding" some rewards and what not oh and lets not forget the "fun". Anyone remember some of the older pvp mmo's? the once where you fought with the adrenalin rushing through you? - because you knew what would happend if you lost the fight, you would lose something! and a death would mean something beside respawning and just rushing into the battle like a brainless lemming! Nowdays pvp in mmo's are like kindergardens where there is only rewards and even tho your a damn idiot, then you still got 7(or whatever number) fighting along side you and helping you with the fight! that are pointless in the first place since its only a grind and dont really mean anything. oh, wait .... raiting! a number .... right, that was not the direction or meaning i was going at. The few older pvp games i know where pvp did matter was games like = Lineage2 - UO - EvE. The reason i mention thease games is because some people might understand what im getting at then. Anyway, i'm just frustrated about the pvp nowdays. Sorry for my english, im not born in either US or England. Back to my mindless lemming rushing griding. poofz
The best they will do is give you one zone to do that in, but they will take a while : /

Zetara
I understand what you mean having played Eve since launch. You value all of your assets, you're not stupid because if you lose your ship you get your insurance payout less than the ship is worth and then you put the rest to buying a new one and the mods for it. You pick your fights, you get an adrenaline surge of rushing into battle trying to win and when you lose, you feel like you've actually lost. When you win you feel awesome, you didn't lose anything. Now you spawn, go kill, die, oh well, run back in, die, oh well, get back up, run back in, don't have to care because if you die?.... oh well. It feels underwhelming after playing games where you actually learn to value your character and it's posessions, but I can see why people who have never played this would hate that kind of model. It does work though, tremendously well.

Beefmiller
World PvP is where it's at. Raid bosses you have to fight for (in addition to instances) That's what I loved about EQ1, and hopefully EQ Next~ Warfronts seem to just be a grind to get gear, which everyone will have in time, this nulling the point. They're fun, but after a while they become moot -- which is why they need to make world (dynamic) PvP more desirable. That's where you'll get the adrenaline rushes we all miss. PvP rez effects or some other loss will help to keep open PvP from becomming a Zerg fest. You lose, lick your wounds, then decide if you lost your camp or it's worth going back after. You win, you get a nice camp and can't sit still for a few minutes~
Grafikk
I think right now the vast majority is just trying to lvl up ... I'm not exactly sure how the zone are set up yet as far as how easily you can run into the other faction (i've only had a handful of situations myself). I know once I hit 50 I'm going hunting
