Notannos
Greetings! Currently searching the forums has been disabled as we run maintenance. Here is the sticky by Amber Green. Hello everyone! For the next several days, we will be performing some back end maintenance on the forums. During this time, you will be unable to use the search function for the forums. However, there will be no other effects to you as a user, and you will be able to continue to message, post, reply, and report as normal. We apologize for any inconvenience. When maintenance has been completed and searching is functional again we will post here, so please watch this thread for any updates or additional information. Malvorno
Greetings! Currently searching the forums has been disabled as we run maintenance. Here is the sticky by Amber Green. Any ETA on when this maintenance is over? I mean December 14 was more than several days ago perhaps an update on the sticky? Thanks for any clarifications
Notannos
Hello Malvorno, At this time we do not have an ETA on when the search feature will be enabled again. We will be sure to inform the entire community when this does happen. We ask for your patience as we continue performing maintenance.
Kirkkh
The search was disabled for PR reasons.
HELhikari
I'm guessing the table lacks Full Text or Oracle Text indexes, depending on what the back end database is (sub-string searching without them hurts...) Although I'm not sure why they disabled "posts by user" searching at the same time, because that's pretty damn fast; it's a routine b-tree index.
