Misar
My experience so far is limited as I have only levelled a BH up to 26, but I have a strong feeling I am levelling up too fast. Havent done any grinding at all, just completed all quests and heroics, flashpoints, done a bit of pvp and played a couple of space missions. The result is I have just left Balmorra at level 26 and headed to the next planet which is supposed to be for 20-25 so the quests im facing now are not challenging at all unless I try to solo heroics... Is it just me or levelling should take longer?

Zeratulz
Levels slow down after the 20's bro. Come back here when you are in the 40's and we'll see if you are singing the same tune.

Mr_Crueak
I agree, leveling should be slower. swtor is not the typical mmo where the real meat of the game starts at max level but instead the real game starts at lvl 1.
Tadshackles
If you know the quests and spacebar through it (I leveled a sage then went back and leveled a shadow) it does go SUPER fast but that is awesome. You go nice and slow your first time, then by spacebarring you go MUCH faster the next tiime. If you really wanna grind, get Aion, its one endless neverending grindfest... Those Koreans know how to make a grindy game.
flunkorg
The reason why it feels faster then other MMO's is because you don't have to rely on grinding just to level like other MMO's of the same genre. As for people making it to level 50 so early. I'm actually disapointed it took them so long. Usually, it only takes 48 hours for someone to reach max level in a new MMO. I think it took... 3-4 days for TOR? Anyway, power levelers gonna power level. Edited December 29, 2011 by flunkorg
IsInvid
Welcome to SWTOR. There is no 'Grinding'. You can choose to gind out levels- but there is enough quest content to get your character to level 50. It is designed to be fun from level 1 to level 50 without grinding. Welcome change
UrienRakarth
I have to agree the leveling is too fast. Especially since the end game is buggy, and PvP consists of FARMING warzones, wandering around in empty ilum or outlaws den, they should make the leveling at least longer then a week. Stories are nice, but I think they are very short too. Just as I started to get used to, they finish.

Is it just me or levelling should take longer? I personally find the Leveling a little too slow. I want it to be a little faster, but I also find it to be just right. I know those are 2 contradicting terms... What I mean is getting to 25 myself took longer than I expected, but I always had plenty of quests to do. And even just rushing through the story quests only seemed to provide me with plenty of levels. On the other hand the leveling/questing is very much like Rift. What I mean is this. Get 3 quests, turn in, get 3 more, next area, repeat. Now I have no issue with this system in and of itself, but it does present the same frustrations I had with various zones in Rift. after the 5th time turning in 3 quests in the same planet all i can think of when i get 3 more still on the planet.. is "Oh god get me out of this place. I am sick of it.. I don't want to run through that damned area again, or I don't want to run down that damned corridor again." I want to emphasize I am perfectly happy with the questing and leveling in SWTOR... I am just pointing out the little things that are bothering me.. and they are not that big a deal at all.
