HELhikari
Just hit lvl 10 on jedi knight, havent pvp'ed yet but im transitioning zones to coruscent i believe, are their any pvp hotspots (contested territories - wow like) on other planets? I'm on a pvp server.? And is it indicated on the map? First two planets you visit (i.e. your starter planet and the capital planet) are non-PvP, because the enemy faction can't get there. After that there's PvP, assuming you can find someone to PvP against... Some areas - like the Promenade on Nar Shaddaa - are "neutral" and your PvP flag will be removed when you've been there for a certain amount of time (which is just the standard PvP cool down thing so you can't run in to a safe area to escape PvP). They're not marked on the map, but you know when you've gone in one because a red message comes up and tell you that you've been flagged for PvP. Also your faction icon comes up next to your character portrait. Edited December 29, 2011 by HELhikari

I could of taggled my pvp flag on tython, im assuming its to pvp my own faction? so any other planet after the starter (tython) and capital (coruscant) there are pvp zones and the game will tell you? Does it say on the map that it's a pvp area?
HELhikari
There's no same-faction PvP - beyond duelling - afaik. They're not marked on the map, you don't know where they are until you go in to one. Generally it's anywhere outside of the social areas, I think. At least those are the areas you get auto-flagged. I haven't bothered seeing if you can manually flag inside controlled cities. EDIT: You can, of course, fight your own side in Huttball. Appletaz
There is same-faction PvP in places like The Outlaw Den on Tattooine -- i think there are a couple other places maybe on Corellia or Ilum? You can battle anyone that is not in a group with you. There seems to be quite a bit of PvP happening on Tatooine, since many of the side quests are given to both factions. and at 10, of course, you can do warzones. Yeah, there wasn't much to bring opposing factions together on Nar Shaddaa. I only ever saw Republic players on the Promenade, which is neutral.
