A new Video card would work. Going with a nVidia 550 or 560 would help with rendering and some FPS.

Adding another 4 GB ram would be nice, just to utilize the 64-bit OS and have it run in optimal conditions. Which would improve overall performance

It's got a Athlon II (AM3) processor. Could be replaced with a Black series processor if you are big on over clocking - or any other AM3 processor. Like a Athlon II x4. Also helps with FPS.

Right now, you can probably run the game fine on mid-low settings. It really is a toss up as the machine is not really a bad machine and the game should be playable with it. I'm guessing though your seeing low FPS while playing though?

Actually, after a bit of tweaking and whatever my performance isn't bad. This depends on where I am, of course. I was just looking to get a little more 'oomph' and don't know what I should do.

Hello everyone,

We have a great discussion going on about Desktop Hardware Q&A you may want to take a look at. I've also included the game's requirements here for you to reference as they may help with your question as well.

Processor:

AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual-Core 4000+ or better

Intel Core 2 Duo 2.0GHz or better

Operating System:

Windows XP or later

RAM:

Windows XP: 1.5GB RAM

Windows Vista and Windows 7: 2GB RAM

Note: PCs using a built-in graphical chipset are recommended to have 2GB of RAM.

Star Wars: The Old Republic requires a video card that has a minimum of 256MB of on-board RAM as well as support for Shader 3.0 or better. Examples include:

ATI X1800 or better

nVidia 7800 or better

Intel 4100 Integrated Graphics or better

DVD-ROM drive – 8x speed or better (required for installation from physical editions only) Internet connection required to play.

Since you have some better places to discuss this particular topic this thread will be closed, good luck with your PC and feel free to carry on in the other thread!
