Kipp
Currently, I think is is only occurring on one of my characters, but one who I know I have grouped with at least three times for Heroic quests. Is it possible to complete a group for a Heroic Quest and not get any social points or is this something I need to submit as a bug with this character? You have to be in group conversations to get social points, at least thats how it's always been for me.
krisslanza
Social points are only earned when a dialogue option comes up during the quest. I think some Heroics don't actually have any dialogue options, so you don't earn social points for them.

TostitoBandito
I think you only get social points during flashpoints. Or, at least during Heroic group quests where group dialogue choices occur.

Incorrect somewhat. You earn social points anytime you're in a group, in a group conversation with an NPC, and a dialogue choice comes up. Flashpoints are special in that they tend to have a lot of dialogue. And I think they give a flat bonus to social points at the end.

Raximillian
Hammer station is a good example of a flash point with little social points. It has no dialogs in the flashpoint, just at the console to get/return the quest. So it can vary.
Rogstar
You do need to have dialog in the questline. Social points only occur when you get the wheel of choice and get to force your choices on others! If you have had dialog, is there any chance you haven't fully completed the quests yet? Social points, affection points, and alignment points do not reflect on your character until the questline is completed and turned in. For example, I ran Esseles in beta, got all the way to the end and crashed right before I had to decide whether or not to go back to the fleet or go to Coruscant. When I got back in, the quest showed as completed but I was unable to turn it in since crashing seemed to not allow myself to interact with the terminal, so I did not get any of the alignment/social points for that dungeon because I never was able to turn it in. Hopefully this is easily sorted out for you. Edited December 29, 2011 by Rogstar
