I've often seen the Chat "Guild Adverts" in General, especially the starter planets. What I don't understand is how some people chat in Ord Mantel General Chat (for instance) and if you look them up it says they are on Fleet or Ilum or some other place.

Many if not most guilds who advertise on starter planets value quantity over quality, therefore they'll zone into the Orbital STation of Ord on thier ship, (because orbital station counts as a planet), post the message, and natter off.
