Character accuracy!

I keep seeing others said that accuracy need to be at 110% to offset the change of missing hits from bosses.

However, all my tank characters accuracy all showing at 111% (real tank built not a skank tank) and of course they do not miss any attacks. I'm playing a Sentinel and his accuracy showing 110.83% and he did MISSED here and there on PvE Elites NPC. So, Did BW change the accuracy value and players do not aware about that? If you go to Fleet and ask accuracy cap you will get the answer 110% LOL It's not hard to get 111% but others keep saying accuracy cap at 110% is wrong information though.

You need 110% accuracy to always hit boss, yes. Tanks (real or skank) have 10% passive accuracy, plus 1% from companion bonus, so it's common accepted that tanks don't need accuracy stats.

You miss as a Sentinel even with 110% because off-hand attacks has lower base accuracy. If you mouseover your accuracy stat it'll shows the details. Note that it's generally not worth stacking accuracy pass 110% for off-hand attacks.

Could you imagine if you needed accuracy to heal?

Dang it! I missed the boo-boo on the tank's knee and cured his hangnail instead.

hahaha Oh dear! lol

OP,

Yes as DPS you want 110% accuracy for PvE. But heals & tanks don't need that at all.

It's been that way for a LONG time.

I knew that but I was playing tank classes or single handed weapon only for years hahaha :D

This is my first time playing Sentinel dual wield melee dps :) so seeing a miss here and there is very NEW to me :D

I never thought offhand has lower accuracy stat.
