SWTOR Class Equivalents in WoW

Could someone familiar with both games please tell me what would the closest WoW mirrors to the following SWTOR classes would be:

Sage/Sorcerer Heals

Trooper/Mercenary Heals

Guardian/Jugg Tank

Trooper/Bounty Hunter Tank

Gunslinger/Agent DPS

Guardian/Jugg DPS

I tried Google and found a few pertaining to Vanillla WoW, but I understand there's a lot more classes now.

Thanks!

Sage heals is like priest in WoW, Sorc heals doesn't really exist in WoW. Shadow priest has one dark is heal and a dot that heals you but that's kinda it. You're not gonna get a Sorc heals feeling in WoW at this time.

Trooper/merc heals, I'd say none, but perhaps a Paladin, still more likely no than yes imo!

Concealment is similar to rogue in WoW, a lot of the skills are the same. Same goes for the rep version.

Guardian/Jugg I'd say the warrior.

In theme, none of these classes are similar as WoW just isn't that kind of game, I think sage is as close as it gets.

Disclaimer: although I've played a fair amount of both TOR and WoW, I'm not any good at either, so my assessment of the focus of each class might be way off base.

Sage/Sorc heals are broadly similar to Discipline Priests in their focus on bubbles, although I think Disc has a narrower range of AoE healing tools.

Commando/Merc heals I'm not as familiar with. As far as I'm aware, no WoW healer has a direct analogue of Kolto Shell.

Tanking I'm also not really up on in TOR. In WoW it generally breaks down more or less like so:

- Warriors and paladins tank with shields. They tend to have an advantage soaking single large hits. Warriors are normally more mobile, whereas paladins have non-terrible ranged abilites (useful for picking up adds).

- Death knights tank by taking lots of damage and then self-healing it all. They're traditionally quite good at picking up and controlling adds.

- Druids tank by having a ginormous health pool (and concomitant bonus to healing taken). This provides them with some protection from big killing blows. They're also usually good at AoE and have a bunch of utility like combat rez.

- Demon hunters tank by dodging everything. They have good mobility.

- Monks tank via Stagger, which basically means they take some incoming damage upfront and the rest over time. This makes them especially good vs. adds and large groups.

Feel free to map those onto the TOR tank classes however you think sounds reasonable.

Gunslinger/Sniper is broadly similar to the Marksman Hunter in terms of focusing on long-range DPS and the mobility to actually stay at range. There's also some overlap between Quickdraw and Aimed Shot in terms of proc-triggered abilities. Their DoT specs might be considered similar to Affliction Warlocks. If you're more interested in the proc aspect, an Arcane or Fire Mage might be in the same general ballpark. (Sorry middle GS/Sniper spec, I don't remember what you do.) There isn't a cover mechanic in WoW, but many ranged specs (especially most Mages, most Warlocks, and sometimes MM Hunters depending on how the devs feel that expansion) are usually thought of as "turret" specs that do well with relatively long stretches of staying on one place punctuated by bursts of movement.

As for Guardian/Juggernaut DPS - I normally associate them with middling-to-strong mobility and good survivability, which suggests to me either a Warrior DPS spec (my experience with Guardian is that it's a slower-paced rotation, which would map to Arms) or Havoc Demon Hunter (Havoc DHs are another drain-type spec; their big DPS cooldown gives them health back from damage, so they tend to dip low and then regenerate a ton of health in a short period). If you're looking for DoTs, you might try Enhancement Shaman.

When I made the switch from MoP to just before RotHC, I went from Druid heals to Sage heals. There was basically no learning curve. Sage healing has gotten a bit more Force Armor centric since then, so it's more priest-ish than it used to be. I still think of it as feeling very MoP era druid-y though. Scoundrel though if you want to have a flashback to being a rolling Lifebloom juggler.
