tolaez
Please let me say that this post is not meant to be inflammatory at all. I'm trying to make sure Bioware actually has an idea of what's going on in their player base. One sentiment I've seen repeated many times from very active players is this - They're waiting to see what the devs say specifically about ops on the next dev stream before they decide to continue subbing or not. I think it's important that Bioware understands the importance of them bringing their A-game with regard to this as it seems to me a lot is riding on it. DarthFletcher
The love for this game I have since launch, and coming back from my break from gaming in dwindling fast. We are doing progress Ops runs weekly as a newish guild to server but the lack of meaningful content to do between Ops is minnimal. Galactic Command as ruined the gaming experience on SWTOR and I honestly don't know how much more of this sh.t I can deal with. 4.0 was great you could run the Operations, Flashpoints and doing Heroics to get the gear sorted ready to run the Operations, now some of the guild are there gear wise, others are miles out and its down to this f'ked up system. So in the 26th Livestream they better not spout out anymore about "uprisings" they are watered down 4 man content that are boring and can be done in 15mins! Added additional difficulty means the mobs don't grow intelligence they just have more HP and hit harder ..... I would like to see new 4 man Flashpoints and 8-16 Man Operations based on the current state of the galaxy. As to cancel my 5yr long subscription I don't honestly know... It is Star Wars and to me being a huge fan that is what draws me here, had this been another MMO I would have been long gone already

Actually, it is the stream Thursday and the patch Tuesday. The patch has fallen flat, so I don't know that anything they say Thursday will save them. It certainly isn't getting my sub money back unless they go back to a reasonable end-game gearing system, too. The announced "fix" is just smoke and mirrors that they seem to think we're stupid enough to fall for.

Oh, I think people will fall for it, for about two weeks til they see it's pretty much the same Grind and not really better unless you have a dedicated Raid group and guild to take advantage of farming last bosses. (PVE wise, don't know if pvp changes will help pvp'ers, sure hope so) I can't imagine anything, actually, that could be remotely possible, for them to announce on Thursday that will bring my sub dollars back. Even if they could somehow get a new op up and running before my sub runs out (end of Feb) I'm not going to do the RNG grind for gear and there aren't enough PUGs out there to run ops with anyway to "fill in" the gear gaps (especially since I have more gaps than gear) and even if there were, it would be NINJA heaven. Darkside
How much longer do people need to wait to hear about ops? Consider this: By the time the time they discuss it, until it is actually created, and then finally implemented into the game, it will be almost Christmas 2017. I'm not concerned with the new loot system personally. I just see it as a fresh coat of paint on the same stuff that's always been in the game. Heck I've geared out faster this expansion than any in the past. I really don't think the changes they're making to the command system are even needed, just pandering to complaints. Which is fine, whatevs. I guess the alt related changes are good. This isn't even about that though. This is about new ops. Ramalina
Reading comprehension review for the wishful thinkers. What was said: We know you want new Ops. What was NOT said. We are making new Ops. Mind the fine print kids.
Ruskaeth
I think a lot of people quit who wanted more operations. I also think BW's solution to provide endgame content with Uprisings did not please those who enjoy raiding. The setup is too far from atmosphere of operations. I think a lot of people might come back for a new operation. I also think that if they announce an operation and that it'll be released in six months.. some people will cease being subs. Psychopyro
it will be almost Christmas 2017. Optimistic much... Maybe 2020.... Seriously though, I have not cancelled yet... But each day I spend less and less time beating my head against the wall here... Good bet this may be the last month for me, I'll see how bad the PvP gearing actually feels before I pull the trigger... I'm not counting on OPS so if the PvP part at this point feels screwed, I'll be out.
KyaniteD
I'm actually starting to enjoy SWTOR-free life. Both RL and games are so much better when 'time spent' comes with a sense of achievement and progress.
