Why do i just get yellow lightsabers being a sith inquisitor? My first one was red but from there all the rest had been yellow and i prefer a lot more red ones, if theres some option or something to change this or if i will receive red ones in the future(i just finished alderaan by first time) i would be thankful i you help me

Slot for color crystal is probably empty, that's why your lightsabers are yellow - default color for saber with empty color crystal slot.

Simply modify your weapon and put red color crystal there. I hope that is the answer you are seeking right now.

Yeah, some of the Dulfy info is out of date. Essentially now what I'd do:

Search on GTN for crytals:

Item modification > crystals. In search field, type RED. Better, type ADVANCED RED

that'll filter to +41 stat ones.

You'll see a bunch of red types ("blood red", "pink red"...). Ctrl-L click on them to preview. Pick the color red you like.

Make sure it has the Cartel Market symbol in LH corner. That means you can unlock in Collections. (see my alt-account Collections post) if you don't know about this.

I'd pick an "Eviscerating" one as the +41 Crit isn't level-sync'd down. If you are a Tank, probably "Indestructible" (+41 Endurance).

Congratulations, you can make infinite copies of that one for your offhand, or for when you change your LS.

Consider account-wide unlocking in Collections so you can get the same privilege with all of your toons.

Or, if you don't want to pay the CC unlock fee, you can put it in a piece of Bind on Legacy gear, mail to your alt. They then pay the few credits to remove (not destroy) it, then it is automatically unlocked on that toon!

No need to keep paying for a new crystal every time.

What about "War Hero"? Since the disappearance of Expertise, those are +41 Mastery, now.

For leveling +41 crit is a huge increase, especially early on, when an enhancement has 2-10 crit. Power and Mastery aren't nearly as useful; even more so now that those stats are capped by level sync.

When Min-Maxing for endgame, crit is still the to-go stat for most dps/heal specs, you get a ton of mastery anyway, Still, at 70 the difference a +41 crystal makes is negligible, use the crystal for the color, not the stat. Unless you're peer-pressured into min-maxing for NiM content, of course.

As usual, Mubrak is spot-on ...

... though I admit my inner min-maxer makes me consider both color and stat.

Crafted crystals are available at level 1, CM crystals at level 10.

True. And the crafted have nice, standard, primary colors.

But they won't be collections unlockable. So next time you switch out a mainhand or offhand, you'll either have to:

a) Buy a new one (~20K to >20,000K on my server), or

b) remove from current and insert into new, at a cost (~12K credits?)

Ohhi see okay thanks i didn't know it was the default color, and where or how cani get a red crystal?

Simply open your old saber by ctrl +right-clicking it, then right click the crystal to extract it, open new saber in the same way, put crystal inside, apply, done.

You can also do this at a modification table (there's many on fleet)
