The last chapter of Kotet , during the fight with Valk . It freeze during cutscene when Valk push you away and steal the holocorn . And I mean total freeze then start up all of sudden . The chapter where you have to save Vette or Torian ? Game lag horribly . yet those dot down there that show Lag are just fine . So I'm assuming its the chapter that has some weird issue . And I don't mean lag like walking slowly or suttering . But like ennemy attack then stop and stand there doing nothing . My abilitie bar does nothing and I'm stuck in that walker , can't shoot at all . And replaying the chapter ? I found out that replying Kotfe , the HK droid in the story has no weapon . I don't know why , but his weapon is gone . Yet in the cutscene the weapon show up . But while he is with you ? he is using his fist . and yes , I already reported these to the bug report thread . But they get buried fast .

Chapter 3 bugged. http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=902584 And another. Refer a Friend not working, says my level 60 friend doesn't have a sub. And another. Using abilities returns target is dead long before they die. And another. Enemies teleport around on death. And another. Entire UI locks up for half a second every time I level (this one's always existed, but it's worse from previous years). Some of these I've submitted tickets for. Some of these I've posted in bug reports for. If they're read at all, they're given a generic response that they'll be fixed in a later patch (like that last one. Still waiting on that later patch). Now you know some of the specifics and... Oh, nothing's changed. So I ask my original question again. When does the beta end?

It's simply bad, and not just because it's so buggy. Which it is. But even if it was totally perfectly bug free, it would still be simply a speedbump that was neither challenging nor fun, just frustrating. For timed missions to be fun, they need to have a solid reward and a mechanic that is a challenge simply because doing it fast is something you need to try hard to do. This one is just a badly laid out level you are required to do to progress, with lots of small nooks, crannies, and twisty passageways, filled with buggy explosion-chained world pops. And a timer. Not challenging, just frustrating; not fun, just a speedbump; no great reward, just a required finish to progress. It's a blight on an otherwise interesting chapter. Good few classes are affected by seveere bugs causing overperformance (Operative/Assassin) / underperformance (Plasma).
merovejec Posted January 9, 2017 Posted January 9, 2017 The good thing is that they have no new content coming so maybe after 6 or so months they will start fixing things or just wait for 6.0 to fix todays stuff next year and come with new bugs
stoopicus Posted January 9, 2017 Posted January 9, 2017 (edited) Last time I checked I still had the bug where if you logged in while on your ship, the character selection screen music looped and never stopped until you zoned. I think of it as a subtle crafting nerf. Also I was just in an ACW match where immediately after both teams deployed, like before I could run halfway to the cap, the match abruptly ended and declared my team the winner. Go us! We rule. When I get something like that, it's because the enemy is nearly dead, and my companion has locked in an ability that *will* kill the enemy, so I cannot. It's bogus, but it's explicable. What makes it bogus is that the foe is still alive but not attackable, but attack focus doesn't autoswitch to the next foe.

It is not possible to abandon a star fortress mission once you start it. Stays in your contacts and companions window forever unless you finish it. Leaps and teleports still bug, and drop you from ledges after 5 years. "Broken commendations" are still the reward for some older quests I really could make a list pages long

Yes you still have an empty alert but no more quest.
