DrDaMoZ Posted January 9, 2017 Posted January 9, 2017 So where can we buy these things anno 2017? Origin doesn't sell digital keys anymore and my local gameshops have been sold out for months on physical copies. All the cd-key websites i've seen so far look way too sketchy for me to even try ordering something, so how do you guys solve this?
ArfiveDefour Posted January 9, 2017 Posted January 9, 2017 In the store from this very site, duh. http://www.swtor.com/buy The one-time 60 days subscription works the same as those game cards/digital keys you mentioned.
Theeko Posted January 9, 2017 Posted January 9, 2017 Yeah I think it costs the same as well so just do it through the account page
Neshira Posted January 9, 2017 Posted January 9, 2017 G2A often has them for as little as 12 bucks american. You have to catch them on a good day though. I got my last one for around 18 or 20 I believe.
Eshvara Posted January 9, 2017 Posted January 9, 2017 Amazon Holland doesn't really have Amazon. You can only buy Ebooks.

I didn't know there was a non-credit card option available from the shop these days. Last time i played there wasn't.

Well, since you mentioned looking to order CD-keys from websites, I assumed you had a credit card. I mean, how do you get around on the internet without one? Luckily for you, the shop on the SWTOR website also offers the option to pay with your bank account through iDEAL. Holland doesn't really have Amazon. You can only buy Ebooks. Just because there's an impotent Amazon.nl website doesn't mean you have to limit yourself to it. You can shop on Amazon.com just fine from the Netherlands.

Paypal and EA Account Balance both are listed as options in addition to your choice of credit card. If you have no credit card, or paypal account, how would you purchase anything online? Is there some European digital currency method that is common? If so... should be able to use it at numerous vendors in EU that sell game time codes.
dr_mike Posted January 9, 2017 Posted January 9, 2017 I couldn't get it to work when I still lived in Holland, but that was three years ago.. so maybe the world had changed! Don't think so. You're not the only one to discover the Amazon cards are US and Canada restricted. There's been many threads on that previously. And I would not suggest G2A either. We just had a thread a few days ago where they were reselling used cards.

Same offline - you can basically pay everywhere with debit cards, but there are still lots of places that don't accept credit cards.
dr_mike Posted January 9, 2017 Posted January 9, 2017 Debit cards / direct debit are very common. With my soccer moms, most debit cards are country restricted. For example, those that live here in the US, they can only use them with websites dealing with the US and Canada. For our British clients, they're restricted to there and the EU.
