Sins on Harby teleport hacking

Keep an eye out for a bunch of sins on Harby who are using a teleport hack and trying to disguise it as phase walk. Going through walls to escape or get back to a node.

When I called them on it they tried to troll me by telling me it's phase walk and L2P. The stupid thing was half my team didn't even know phase walk was removed for Sins and started to troll me too. :(

These are the sort of hacks that confuse people into thinking they are ledgitmate abilities. I ended up in a heated discussion with someone after the match. They were abusive and they argued phase walk was still in the game for sins. I ended up putting them on ignore 3 times because they kept getting on with alts to troll. In the end I turned chat off.

If you see these guys, please report them and also call them out in chat so that people get educated that it's not an ability for them anymore.

Seriously ready to abandon this game once and for all. I've hardly played the game in the last 6 weeks and I used to play 6 hours every day.

Go to another server Harbinger is cancer. Come to TEH, where the PVP is as plentiful as the ERP! JK. I just thought I'd make that up, I never ERPed, ever. But. There is lots of PVP and NO HACKS.

I can't :(

I'm in Australia and it adds 200ms more to my ping

Harby really is cancer. Been play for 6 hours and no hacks, but in the last 40-50 mins I've seen 5 hackers.

Shouldn't surprise me that it's starting to come into Asia/Chinese play time.

It seems every day I'm in regs, there's a Juggernaut who likes to float during combat. I'm taking a moment to screencap him next time because I'm going to report his ---.

That's an old mara/jugg bug, not a hack. He doesn't benefit from it either.

Actually it's both. There is a bug, but there is also a hack that can get confused as a bug. This is why it is incredibly hard to tell the difference and is often confused for the bug.

Questions to help determine wether it's the bug or hack are

Is it always the same player in every match? If so, it is highly unlikely they are the only one floating every match, but not 100% proof of a hack. But this is an indicator to take the investigation further.

Does the player still float after they respawn? Ie all match? Does the player float after you respawn?

** most of the time if you die and respawn or they do, it fixes the graphics bug and you won't see it for the rest if the match **

Do most of your hits miss? If so, how many? You can check this by enabling your combat log and then run the file through a parse program to see the results after the match. If the percentage of misses is well above normal, especially compared to other Juggs, then this is a key indicator that they are hacking.

If you play multiple games against this person and get the same results. I would put this down as a hack.

** disclaimer, this is one of the hardest hacks to identify and get 100% right because it is nearly always confused with the floating bug. This is why this hack is the easiest to get away with. Sending screen shots as well as combat logs and parse files (screen shots) and also your observations to Bio are the only ways they can see what's happening.

When you start seeing this person, enable combat logging before the match and then turn it off after the match. This way you can have a file for each WZ.

Then use a Parsing site or program to run the combat log through. You should be able to isolate fights against that person and see how many misses you had.

Swtor Parsley or Starparse are good parsing sites to check combat logs
