Parkooth Posted January 6, 2017 Posted January 6, 2017 My partner is going to let her subscription lapse for a while, and rather than have excess credit going into escrow will be sending it to me, but before that happens we'd like to know what the credit limit for preferred players is. Also is the playable toon limit still 8, or did that increase with KotET? Haven't found anything by searching the SWTOR site, the forums, or EA answers Thanks
MichaelStuart Posted January 6, 2017 Posted January 6, 2017 (edited) It was 350,000 last time I checked. Not sure on the character limit, sorry. Edited January 6, 2017 by MichaelStuart
Theeko Posted January 6, 2017 Posted January 6, 2017 I believe 250k for f2p, 350k for pref, its pretty dumb tbh especially in todays economy of Swtor should now be around 2.5m / 5m imo
Jokeykilla Posted January 6, 2017 Posted January 6, 2017 350k and the rest are in storage until you spend them I believe at least thats how it was for me until I subscribed recently, I was also only allowed to play 2 characters for some reason despite being preferred unless they changed that.
Anduhar Posted January 6, 2017 Posted January 6, 2017 Here's a table showing all the differences between F2P, Preferred, and Subscribers: https://www.reddit.com/r/swtor/wiki/f2p#wiki_differences_quickview
MiloUto Posted January 6, 2017 Posted January 6, 2017 I think the cap for a subscriber is around 4B. I hope that helps
Parkooth Posted January 6, 2017 Author Posted January 6, 2017 Thanks a lot folks As has been mentioned - it won't buy much nowadays.

spectreclees Posted January 7, 2017 Posted January 7, 2017 The fact there is a credit cap and all these restrictions for F2P that forces you to subscribe are laughable but to answer your question, it is 350k.
AllisonLightning Posted January 7, 2017 Posted January 7, 2017 The fact there is a credit cap and all these restrictions for F2P that forces you to subscribe are laughable but to answer your question, it is 350k. To be fair, the credit cap was never my problem as a Preferred. It was not being able to buy inventory unlocks and losing container rewards... it's probably worse without the crystals now- wouldn't know since I haven't been that since late June. Credit cap stops you wasting your time credit grinding and better yet, the escrow forces you to save credits. Preferred Status is such a joke though- at least F2P never have spent a cent in the game so what does it matter if they are locked to 50, most Preferred Status who still play were long running subs.
dr_mike Posted January 7, 2017 Posted January 7, 2017 (edited) It's 200k for f2p 350k for preferred and around 4.2b for subscribers due to a variable restriction. Back when I was a f2p player, you could usually trade items, materials and what not for unlocks but we had folks willing to do that. Edited January 7, 2017 by dr_mike
