Dashtardly
(New) Companion customization. We are able to customize the appearance of our class quest companions (those obtained in class story levels 1-50). The new companions aren't explicitly made to avoid customization (and it it that customization that differentiates our companions from others that we have and those that other players have). It's also a show case for gear - many times I've asked other players "What is that gear X is wearing and where did you get it?". Many times it's some cartel item I hadn't seen and went out and got. Very recently, Ben (I believe) posted that the recently released Shae Vizla companion's appearance customization was a "bug" and would be removed in some future patch. Well, what's the first thing I did - equipped gear on her to match my character and to make her look "good" to me, not how some art department decided she should look like. You need to bring back companion customization and stop deciding what we should like.
Rion_Starkiller
You canceled your sub because of Shae Viszla customization? I'm no white knight, but that's.... a crazy reason. Let the cougar wear what she wants to wear. How dare you change her mandolorian armor!

Let the cougar wear what she wants to wear. How dare you change her mandolorian armor! DOH. No of course there were other reasons. Lack of (new) companion customization (and treating one - Shae Visla - as a "bug") is only one of the items that were enough for me to stop my subscription (I just forgot to include that in my list). LOL - how do you know what she want's to wear? As far as I know there is no companion that makes comments about their equipped gear, but that's a heck of a suggestion ("Do you really think that's appropriate for the leader of the Mandalores?", or "How about something a little more blaster bolt reflective?"). Would certainly make the companions feel more connected to the player (as they pretty much stop after the completion of class story lines).
