Could we get personnel that come in groups like party goers, performers, NPCs sitting at tables? It would also be nice to have decorations that come with appropriate personnel such as star ships with technicians working on them or databanks being raided by theives.

Also, can they be given the full spectrum of hook placement? Sometimes you need to put NPCs on the off hooks because main hooks are going to the bulk of the decoration. We need to be able to stick them wherever we can until there is better floor coverage for hooks.

We could use:

  • people eating for restaurants
  • queues for checkout or lining up outside a club,
  • slicers or technicians at consoles
  • groups of droids
  • Soldiers in formation
  • Groups of animals in a zoo enclosure
  • government officials conversing
  • Jedi/Sith training groups
  • Bars with dedicated bartenders
  • Zakuulan things with Zakuulans standing around them

I really like these ideas! My ideas:

Soldiers

  • multiple guards in parade rest
  • starfighter with ground crew surrounding it
  • squads practicing shooting
  • group around a holotable planning an op

I also like the idea of Jedi/Sith training groups in various configurations. For politicians, you could do Imperial ones, Republic ones, groups of Alderaanian nobles?

Hospital patients, wounded NPCs, and other less than healthy groups of people would be good too. During the Nightlife event I even saw two inebriated revelers that probably could use a med droid. One was on the ground already and the other was wobbling.

I would LOVE a cantina band! :)

that plays music.

I can imagine them having a click interaction. Normally they are just in standby idle mode but once you click them they staying playing, singers start singing, and dancers start dancing for the duration of the song.

I would really like to see personnel decorations that come with groups of NPCs as well. It uses up so many hooks to make your stronghold look appropriately populated. When you squeeze a bunch together, you have to find a way to make them look as if they're interacting with each other or something else. That results in a lot of NPCs being used as guards of some description. or just stood idly behind desks.

Anything that makes a stronghold seem more lively is good in my datapad! :jawa_redface:

I like this idea too! If they can balance it with the performance concerns that have limited the number of NPCs in a stronghold to begin with, then this would be a nice addition.

I really do not want to see Arrangements of NPCs. I would strongly prefer that they release all the NPCs as separate decorations and let us arrange them ourselves. Otherwise, our strongholds will start to look the same and we won't be able to indulge our creativity. With separate NPCs, we won't be stuck with certain themes suggested by the groupings. There's no reason they can't do both like they do with decorations in general. However arrangements have the benefit of being able to put personnel with compatible idle animations together or all clothed the same but different people. Arrangements can bring a harmony. However, they would need to go on small hooks so that they can be placed in more places, around other personnel, and close to other decorations.
