Should have buffed our damage instead if no one wants to hit us. Mercs needed a survability buff, but this is over the top and OP. It needs to be brought down. You can be top DPS, top burst dps, and hardest to kill.

All they needed was a bit wider stealth detection field, which actually WAS a suggestion but was of course ignored.
BlissDivine Posted December 22, 2016 Posted December 22, 2016 Because Arenas are bad and the "strategy" is to tunnel the class with the weakest defenses (especially in all dps arenas). Merc's use to be that class that got tunneled in Arenas. A quick kill in Arenas leads to a 4v3 and a better chance at a win. Merc's were fine in reg WZs before 5.0. In fact I did top damage all the time on my Merc in WZs. It did need a buff to be viable in solo ranked, but it got over buffed. Now it's a 30m tank with some of the best burst dps in the game and e-net.
