michaeljn Posted December 8, 2016 Posted December 8, 2016 I had to replace my hard drive, after i reinstall Star Wars The Old Republic Game, I tried to log in and got the message: Server not responding. How can i fix it?
xordevoreaux Posted December 8, 2016 Posted December 8, 2016 Did you get past the login for you name and password and was presented with a list of servers, or did you not even get past name and password?
michaeljn Posted December 8, 2016 Author Posted December 8, 2016 No I was not getting a list of servers, when I attempt to login, it just gives me the error message.
dr_mike Posted December 8, 2016 Posted December 8, 2016 Usually that's a sign that either swtor.exe or launcher.exe can't get past your firewall. Not sure what you use but may want to go in and make sure both are allowed. May even want to flick them on and off a couple of times. Had to do that myself recently with one of the most recent patches.
TroxAeze Posted December 8, 2016 Posted December 8, 2016 I've been getting this a lot since I reinstalled. Hold down the windows key and press R. Then type CMD. When the dos screen pops up type ipconfig/flushdns Then exit and fire up the launcher. Should work fine
