ConradLionhart Posted December 6, 2016 Posted December 6, 2016 Story was what got me hooked, and story was what made me sub to get this latest expansion. While I am happy with this change in direction into a solo online-RPG, I wish there was more to keep me subbed. I wish there was more solo group content like eternal championship or star fortress. One content which SW:TOR hasn't touched on is companion content. Bigger Missions The biggest potential would be, to have companion content where you send them out on bigger missions, and the success chance depends on the correct decisions and the companion influence. We saw hints of it when you had to choose whether Aric or Kaliyo should do something in one of the chapters of Fallen Empire. This will be similar to WoW's table missions, but you could always enhance it for SW:TOR. Mass Effect 3 Effective Military Strength I am disappointed that there is no Mass Effect 3-like group effort where you need to reach 100% war score to launch an attack on the Eternal Fleet. I thought that's why we are recruiting all these people, so that they all chip in and increase the success chance against the Eternal Empire. That's why you have to choose whether to recruit a disagreeable companion/faction in the name of beating the greater enemy. There could be synergy, one group may hate the other, and your strength as a commander determines whether or not you can keep them in line. Link between Operations and solo player I thought the Revan fight was a nice link between an operation and solo players. Raiders can do it like a normal operation. Solo players can also do the solo version of it, and how did you write it? The combined forces of Republic and Empire helped weaken the place. And in the fight, major npcs helped you. Like the Effective Military Strength, you could make companions weaken the operation in the similar way, and also do dailies to further lower the EMS needed to "launch an attack". Then you get to do the last boss for CXP. This can be a weekly thing, that keeps people playing, grinding for companion influence.
