TalonVII Posted December 2, 2016 Posted December 2, 2016 Hey with KOTFE, if I screwed up getting my knight with Lana(which I regret) can I go back and redo it so I do have the romance with Lana? Or are my choices already locked and I'm just rehashing it all over again?

Or are my choices already locked and I'm just rehashing it all over again? Nope. I just replayed KotFE Chapter 9 with my JK who DID romance Theron, and she wasn't even able replay the flirt with him. It's not even a conversation choice. Sorry

The cutscene play and the dialogue wheel doesn't appear and they just say what you picked ? *facepalm*..what is the point of re-doing them then ? Jeebus..wth were they thinking .

In the cantina, when you ask if you can talk to one of them, there's no "<Flirt> I want to talk to one of you: 1. Lana 2. Theron 3. Koth." It's just "I want to talk to one of you (Choices of who)." I picked Theron, and the scene went on. And the private conversation, the part where I KNOW the "Lock in the romance" flirt option would follow (He says something like, 'I want you to know that I will help the Alliance in any way I can," to which the reply is supposed to be "<Flirt> Anything?" (Again, I'm paraphrasing). Instead, there was no <Flirt> It was the generic, "Hey we're just going to move this conversation along, thank you for your help, Theron." I'm sure the flirt options were taken out of the replays because I can see how flags might get all messed up, but, yeah, what WAS the point of repeating chapters if you can't replay the parts you might want to see again? Funny thing, though: All the other flirts in Chapter 9 were still present and still gave approval. So just the "Locking in the romance" flirt was removed on my character who did lock it in originally.

So let me get this right . In KOTFE repeating chapter on the same character....doesn't get you the same fun ? but on KOTET You can change your dialogue and the ending? I'm interested on seeing if we can have fun in Kotet . Kotfe was miserable for me..utterly boring . and I made a mistake with my Sorc lol I wanna see if I can get to make a pass at Acina lol

If in your original playthrough you killed Senya in Chapter 1, but wanted to spare her in a different run, Chapter 9's second play through will still reflect that you killed Senya. You can't do a complete rerun with different choices. This is just speculation though. I doubt you will be able to spare Senya in a second playthrough based off the fact that major story decisions are locked in already and they take those options out. I don't know for absolute sure because I ONLY replayed Chapter 9 of KotFE. But I'm assuming the ONLY thing you can change is just the flavor conversation, which makes the entire thing pointless.

I didn't do it because I did t want there to be a chance it would happen in my canon story. ;/ I got the box asking if I wanted to start something. Edited December 3, 2016 by Eshvara

See I DID romance him originally, but when I redid that chapter there was no "<Flirt> I want to talk one of you," to even LEAD to the <"Flirt> Do anything for me?" part of the conversation. Oh man, if that ruined my Theron Romanced flag, I'm going to be super pissed.
