warjarl Posted August 8, 2016 Share Posted August 8, 2016 My launcher says updates are applying for today, the 8th, but the news forum says they'll be applying them on the 9th at their standard time (5-9 am PST). All the servers are down, so, did someone make a mistake somewhere, or will there be more updates in the morning? Anyone have any information or input? What we are going to do is we are going to move tomorrow's maintenance up to right now, meaning there will no longer be a maintenance tomorrow morning. Within the next 15-30 minutes we will be bringing all servers down as we deploy Game Update 4.7 and Chapter 16. This means that as the servers come back up 4.7 will be live and you will have access to Chapter 16 Early Access if you qualified. We do apologize for any inconvenience this has caused, but with this solution you will be getting Chapter 16 and GU 4.7 even sooner than planned. This means that starting soon SWTOR servers will be unavailable for approximately 4 hours (hopefully less). We will be keeping SWTOR.com available during this period. CarthSeverus Posted August 8, 2016 Share Posted August 8, 2016 No,apparently something caused the patch to start loading this afternoon or something to that affect and they decided to just release 4.7 tonight.so when servers come back,it will be with chapter 16 playable and everything instead of tomorrow. As others have noted, we are in maintenance right now to deploy 4.7. That something is updating the original maintenance thread to note the new timing of maintenance. Consider it updated. As others have noted, we are in maintenance right now to deploy 4.7. Wait really? honestly I think this game would be better if they cared to fix issues faster and more often. We've had multiple periods in the past where we've gone 6-8 weeks without maintenance even when exploits were live. It's very common for maintenance in mmo's. Black desert does maintenance every week and adds new classes and content. They were down 12hours or so last week to do so. I've never played wow, but I've heard similar things.
