JessieLoverRxE Posted December 2, 2015 Posted December 2, 2015 Despites KOTFE being pretty awesome and all, I have seen a lot of people wishing they'd get to see more of their personal/class story (myself included). Now, since the characters are pretty old at this point, followed in similar footsteps since the DLC's, there maybe isn't much further they can do with them. Or , not much at least. So I had this idea that BW would allow us to play the backstory they usually fit into the starting prologue; What I mean is, I'd like to play the Sith Inquisitor when he/she was trying to get Sith's attention and rise his/her way out of slavery, I'd like to play the trooper when he/she was in military training, the Sith Warrior as he/she fought his/her way trough Ziost training, getting Tremel's attention (I'd really love to see that dude again!). Or something similar. This is just a draft of an idea, not very in-depth, but I'd really love if BW would consider something like this after KOTFE. Idk, I'd just get lots of nostalgia feels if this came to life. Our character came such a long way, i'd be cool to play their ambitious young selves again. Thoughts?
Analyst Posted December 2, 2015 Posted December 2, 2015 It's quite an interesting idea, but the problem is that such a flashback does not correlate well with powers and equipment that a character most certainly has now. And if they will be locked... well, it would be a bit hard to get used to basics again) Though it could be done with the means of time travel - there were some examples in EU, though I am not sure that there was a travel in the past. But now I imagine how my Inquisitor on grasping the situation, hides behind a mask, arrives to a certain place and tests various slaves... "This one is uninteresting, this one is too, and this one... Oh, he's a Force-sensitive. Send him to Korriban. And I'll leave for now, I have to send some dreams to a certain Sith lady..."

It could be as it is, or they'd just cut out some of the OP abilities while you're in the backstory. Or, perhaps just make a few of your usual/basic skills do more damage. (again, for the time being). I was actually thinking I'd be more stand alone. Rather then time travel, we'd just get to act like them as we think they acted back then. That or, maybe it could be collided with another story. Maybe we switch from being our *old* selves to the flashbacks. Just...don't ask what the original story would be about because I have no idea lol. Just throwing whatever I come up with atm. Maybe BW can get inspired by some of it, and create some awesome new content, who knows? But there def. needs to be more class stories, and personal experiences imo. Well, would love it very much.

JessieLoverRxE Posted December 2, 2015 Author Posted December 2, 2015 Isn't that the story that happens on Korriban? You need to get noticed for korriban first. Imagine you get to deceive the co-slaves in this story, or mess with the non force sensitive imperials etc, something. (Drafty idea as I said). There are still ways for the story to be different then the one on korriban. On korriban, you're not actually a slave anymore, despites what that dude keeps trying to tell you. You're an acolyte.
