Aerykian Posted November 29, 2015 Posted November 29, 2015 Is there a way to shift or ctrl-click on a deco that's been placed, and automatically select it's hook? I'm trying to move the cargo storages on the small hooks. When I try and click on the hook it thinks I'm trying to click on the cargo storage, and I get the 'cannot interact with anything while in edit mode' message. Really frustrating.
Mireleni Posted November 30, 2015 Posted November 30, 2015 No, there's no way to automatically select the hook of a placed decoration. Try zooming in all the way (first person point of view) and changing the viewing angle until you can get a click on the small green hook. If all else fails, in most cases the small hooks are part of a larger hook arrangement, and if you can click on any of the hooks in the arrangement, you can change the hook layout (e.g., change large standard hook arrangement to small and narrow cross), which will remove all decorations from the hooks. I've heard that the Mentor processing core can cause trouble with people being unable to move it, but the storage decorations should all be manageable.
JediQuaker Posted November 30, 2015 Posted November 30, 2015 Keep hovering your mouse around the edges of the hook until the pointer turns into a "hand", and then click. In some cases it may be hard to find a spot, but there's usually some area not covered by the deco. Also, it seems to help to occasionally click on some other random, unoccupied hook, to sort of 'reset' things.
