Kaedusz Posted November 28, 2015 Posted November 28, 2015 (edited) Yesterday teams of wild stunlocking and kiting operatives unsubed me. What's next? Patch Notes 4.3: Operatives can now fly. Nerf them please. Edited November 28, 2015 by Kaedusz
Alfadyr Posted November 28, 2015 Posted November 28, 2015 I like that you nerfed operatives at 4.0. Our damage was insane and we could 1 shot people. Please lower our damage, so we can be real stealthers . No one will even notice we are playing!
xxIncubixx Posted November 28, 2015 Posted November 28, 2015 operative damage is easily heal thro the roll is abit to much tho especialy on huttball
uzoozu Posted November 28, 2015 Posted November 28, 2015 I think that any class that gets stealth should not get any attacks or heals. All they should be able to do is hide period. Also nerf Merc plox
Yorioko Posted November 28, 2015 Posted November 28, 2015 I think that any class that gets stealth should not get any attacks or heals. All they should be able to do is hide period. Also nerf Merc plox it would be even more FAIR if they couldn't move at all while hidden. BUT so that somone could find them and not demand a stealth nerf....maybe they; Stealthers could have like a sign when they hid......-------------> I am Here!
Hiro_Wildfire Posted November 28, 2015 Posted November 28, 2015 operative damage is easily heal thro the roll is abit to much tho especialy on huttball Operative roll nerf needed confirmed, nerf zee operative roll. A useful operative is one that needs nerfing!
jmdustin Posted November 29, 2015 Posted November 29, 2015 We should totally nerf operatives, it's not like any other classes need nerfing or buffing All sarcasm aside, Operatives don't need a nerf. They are fine where at where they are, there are more important stuff to buff and nerf than to worry about Operatives. I've felt you're pain, I ran into a team with 4 sorcerers and 4 powertechs, ouch. Point is, you'll get ganked and farmed on in PvP, big deal, just gotta move on.
MrGoldsilver Posted November 29, 2015 Posted November 29, 2015 I agree Nerf Operatives. Make Kolto Probe deal damage to the operative instead of healing them, if they use it on themselves. Also Shiv and Veiled Strike should require and consume a Tactical Advantage when used.
MishraArtificer Posted November 29, 2015 Posted November 29, 2015 it would be even more FAIR if they couldn't move at all while hidden. BUT so that somone could find them and not demand a stealth nerf....maybe they; Stealthers could have like a sign when they hid......-------------> I am Here! What do you think I use the Life Day Tinsel Bomb and Snowball Bomb for?
kvandertulip Posted November 29, 2015 Posted November 29, 2015 The really sad thing is the devs don't recognize the sarcasm, and they take this s*** seriously.
PrincessNuri Posted November 29, 2015 Posted November 29, 2015 The really sad thing is the devs don't recognize the sarcasm, and they take this s*** seriously. Wrong, the sad part is they don't take anything at all serious anymore.
Yorioko Posted November 29, 2015 Posted November 29, 2015 Wrong, the sad part is they don't take anything at all serious anymore. The reason for that is very simple. Every time a PVPer looses a fight...then the class he lost against HAS to be nerfed.......the fat that it is the players "own fault" he looses is not at all something People seem capable of understanding. I og With a non stealther to a wz, then steather uses steath and I can't kill him....NERF! With a immature Level like this in asking for and demanding class and pvp changes then naturally and for all the right reasons Bioware chooses to don't give F...... Is only the ost Natural thing in the world

With a immature Level like this in asking for and demanding class and pvp changes then naturally and for all the right reasons Bioware chooses to don't give F...... Is only the ost Natural thing in the world Been pvping a lot lately, here's how I'd rate the classes... #1 PT--stupid #2-3 sniper/gunslinger-my favorite to play, faceroll easy tie with merc/commando dps #4 sorc/sage, solid heals, squishy but fun nukers/dotters #5 shadow/assassins, ok I have not played one of these in pvp. I have one, but I never really understood the class. But I have run into a couple that STOMP people. #6 ops/scoundrel dps, there aren't many of these, but again, stealth + good dps makes them tough. #7 Knight/war solid class, loads of fun, very good tanks if you go that way, but still melee #8 Marauders--good vs healers and sorcs, but no knockback, no self heals, no shields, no stealth, little range...I would say I have had the least amount of trouble from these guys. as far as dps goes.... dead last... ops/scoundrel heals... pve heals...and not even good at that...no controllable knockback, weak heals, and your big power, stealth, is no real benefit to you except for removing yourself from the fight which means your team is likely to lose. Oh no, that sawbones healer is so OP...said no one ever. I have one, I pvp'd enough to get him some gear pieces I wanted, and I retired him to PVE. Stealth IS good when there's a use for it like with Sins. Really good players can make anything work, while really bad players can make anything suck, but mechanics definitely do not favor stealth healers...it's not like their heals are massively better when they break stealth the way dps is. Every second they are in stealth is a second they aren't healing. I would say, if you want to pvp, avoid the marauder and ops classes as, unless you are really good, you'll be mostly frustrated. AND, I'd say you're better off playing Imp side just because the Pub side players, in general, aren't as good, as well geared nor do their mechanics suit pvp as well as Imp side. If you're new, you might want to avoid healing in general as you will be constantly focused, cc'd, and pounded on, although heals are always loved in the WZs, moreso than they'll ever be in pve. Ranged dps is fun and easy. Tanks can be useful for holding points and running the huttball. Melee dps while a little more challenging, is very effective. Heals, you'll be public enemy #1, but you'll get plenty of mvp votes from your team for taking the beating--just do yourself a favor and go sorc or merc.

flyingwarden Posted November 30, 2015 Posted November 30, 2015 I feel we can all come to an agreement. Let's just remove ops from the game, that way they're op-ness doesn't ruin everyone's enjoyment. I mean lethality is op currently, you ever been hit by their crap dots? It's insulting, therefore op, and scrapper is even more op. I mean sure you can root them and that pretty much shuts them down, but they can root you back. How dare they.
Coloneli Posted November 30, 2015 Posted November 30, 2015 So to the guy saying op heals never were op i recommend looking up 2.0
Lundorff Posted November 30, 2015 Posted November 30, 2015 I am so sick and tired of this Nerf Operatives meme. Enough is enough. Operatives are currently somewhere in the middle depending on who controls it. Most operatives I encounter on my marauder are laughably easy to kill, so enough with this annoying meme.
Kaedusz Posted December 1, 2015 Author Posted December 1, 2015 http://www.troll.me/images/ancient-aliens-guy/stunlocked-till-unsub-it-was-a-team-of-operatives-thumb.jpg

Also Shiv and Veiled Strike should require and consume a Tactical Advantage when used. Why only Kolto Probe? Operatives have other abilities too I am 100% some feel that Things walking, jumping wearing armor....having weapons etc...is way overpowering, it may actually make them loose if the encounter such an operative. I say nefre the class to just be able to walk, no attack or defense......then mayne the NERF criers have a small chance of winning over the Operative
Lhancelot Posted December 2, 2015 Posted December 2, 2015 Yesterday teams of wild stunlocking and kiting operatives unsubed me. What's next? Patch Notes 4.3: Operatives can now fly. Nerf them please. So... if a team of PTs bursted you dead in .00001 secs, would you unsub? If a team of madness sorcs melted you in .00001 secs would you unsub? If a team of deception sins stabbed you in the back for 10000000000 damage blowing you up in .00001 secs would you unsub? Seriously man. I am one to admit and point out flaws and imbalance that I feel exists, but, a blanket statement like, "a team of ops killed me I am unsubbing", does that really sound reasonable? Unsub as you will, but a team of ops shouldn't make you feel like you need to unsub. lol. I think I get it though, it's extremely frustrating when a coordinated group of 2-4 ops work together and troll/grief one person over, over, and over in a wz. I have had it done and it really makes a person want to quit. That being said, I think you need to step back and take a long breather from the game, maybe unsubbing is a good choice at this time.
