So in knights of the fallen empire around chapter 8 or so you hear citizens talking about the planet Dantooine from kotor1. They say stuff like theres large bugs there or something like that. Anyway will we get it as a planet in game. I think that would be cool. Also as an easter egg or in game lore could we get that room where revan and malak learned about the star forge. Believe me, if we ever go to Dantoine, Bioware is going to milk the Nostalgia aspect of the damn place.

I'm pretty sure you'll still be able to talk to the damned Rakatan droid in the Star Map room and you'll find the skeleton of Nemo, still here after 300 years.

I know how silly and cheap that is, but I LOVE IT. :p

No. If Dantooine was destroyed, in future Leia Organa wouldn't be able to misdirect Tarkin towards it, would she? There were hard fighting but nothing like planets destruction.

Indeed. The Jedi Enclave was destroyed, but not the planet. Dantooine also appears in the 2003 animated series Star Wars: Clone Wars.

They also mention Ryloth and a ton of other planets a lot in the vanilla stories, yet they're nowhere to be seen or planned to be included.

This game is no longer tied to cannon for the movies and lore

It is completely non cannon and seperate now allowing EA to go any direction they wish

Hell next race could be Turian or Asari for that matter

Muh...

They brough Manaan and what can you do ? Does it even have the Selkath ? go underwater ? See it as the neutral planet that it was ?

Honestly , I rather they stop bringing old planet and screw them up , and just make something new . Maybe it be better .

Artillery has nothing to do with this, I presume. The fact is that I doubt that Bioware will change established picture so radically, and Dantooine is not such important a planet that its destruction may have great significance.

Cool idea. Several other Kotor I and II planets could be fun. The droid on the wookie in SoR storyline mentions Onderon for example. Could be fun.

Speaking of wookies - Kasshyyk (sp?) could be fun in the future. Maybe Arcann is having just a wee bit of difficulty in keeping those wookies down? So we seek their help? Maybe there is evne a large battle there, similar to the one going in SW: Episode III. Get to be part of it. This part could even change based on class. I think it would be a huge opportunity. There are similar battles that take place in Warlords of Draenor in WoW (Shattra City, the one in Nagrand, the one in the Iron Harbor...several). It'd be nice to have some kind of instanced or cinematic thing like that in SWTOR. Btw, those battles were not ENTIRELY just interactive movies. You could very easily die in them if you were dumb. So they were modestly challenging. Whole point of rant is - It's Doable!
