Previously I'd cap reg comms and basic/planetary comms until late I hit 40 Valor and finished leveling. So do you aim for the 6k or so comms for the basic set or the 21k comms for the ranked? Well if you level via pvp, this is a moot question, you would have more than enough for a 208 set multiple times over. However, if you are selectively PVPing, then you should aim for at least left hand side, main and offhand in exemplar, and start with cynosure for the armour parts. You can happily augment everything then from the off. You can never have too many comms, any surplus, pass to alts. Edited November 27, 2015 by ThorgrimLutgen
