Tekunetu Posted November 26, 2015 Posted November 26, 2015 (edited) I have noticed that the PVP tank gear for the guardian and vanguard classes have higher endurance than the armorings for the shadow tank gear (which contain versatile armorings). Is there a plan to change this so that the Sin/Shadow class has an equal amount of HP with the other two tanks? I am seeing tanks with 88k hp and Im stuck at 84k with all high endurance mods and enhancements. Edited November 26, 2015 by Tekunetu
Kornaker Posted November 26, 2015 Posted November 26, 2015 It's about balance because we have 2% health free on tree so to compensate we have a good dps armoring. You Will not have another as set bonus is bound to armoring, so...
PrincessNuri Posted November 26, 2015 Posted November 26, 2015 My sin tank has 90k HP fully geared atm
Tekunetu Posted November 26, 2015 Author Posted November 26, 2015 Sorry, I meant to say pvp gear. pve gear, hp doesnt matter but for pvp it does.
Aelanis Posted November 26, 2015 Posted November 26, 2015 Sorry, I meant to say pvp gear. pve gear, hp doesnt matter but for pvp it does. I'll remember that the next time I survive a 75k Driving Thrust because I took some extra hp.

Being argumentative for no reason is pointless and if you are arguing that hp is more important that tertiary stats in PVE, then you are just wrong. In PVP, tertiary stats matter much less.

The only way to survive that spike is to stack HP in place of secondary stat. By the way, where did I say tertiary stat? Oh right, I didn't.

I personally gear with B mods and a 50:50 ratio of vendor 220 enhancements and 224 min maxed enhancements, and my hp is at 85k, which i think is about right.

Why not just use the mk-2 bulwark/bastion enhancements? It makes a lot more sense than mixing com gear with the 224s. The mk-2s drop like candy and are plentiful. They also just sacrifice def for endurance. Same sheild and absorb as a token enhancement. Check them out. It turns out to be a no brainer.

A comm and 224 min maxed enhancement actually give 1 less mit stat, 1 more end point, and 12 more defense than 2x220 medium end enhancements. Obviously if you don't have the 224 enhancements stick to the bulwarks and bastions though
