OmegaNerd Posted November 25, 2015 Posted November 25, 2015 Why oh why are there no vendors for level 65 modifications? I have searched extensively on fleet and that new 'Alliance" base. Have searched the web and have found no solid answers. The only option I have found is to buy a piece of lvl 65 gear for 120 crystals, then spend ~ 6000 credits to remove the mods and put them in the gear I want. "Why not just use the gear as is?" you ask? It looks ridiculous on my Assassin. I put a lot of time and credits into the look of my assassin, and I want mods for the gear I have..
Yorioko Posted November 25, 2015 Posted November 25, 2015 Use an outfit slot and problem solved. Exactly
MoyaSP Posted November 25, 2015 Posted November 25, 2015 6k credits is nothing though, so don't get the problem
dlcman Posted November 25, 2015 Posted November 25, 2015 6k per mod is 18k per piece times all the pieces can add up. Or he could just use the outfit slot and always have that look no matter the gear. But that makes it not as much fun to forum rage.
Avalyssia Posted November 25, 2015 Posted November 25, 2015 Same I just use the outfitter unless I want to put the mods into legacy gear for alts - but I'd much rather pay the credits than the crystals.
Deyjarl Posted November 25, 2015 Posted November 25, 2015 Use an outfit slot and problem solved. This. Put the item appearance you like in an outfit slot and use that outfit for appearance. No more need to move mods around except for weapons. And they aren't on vendors so we actually have something in game to work towards.
Allamirr Posted November 25, 2015 Posted November 25, 2015 The only thing youll need to do is add Augment slots to new gear really, which is 32k per item at grade 8. No need to waste credits prying mod, armor and enhancements out, when you can use the Outfit tabs for your look.

Personally, I prefer customizing my base gear because I hate seeing that fugly *** model by default every time I open my character panel. Regardless of reasons, selling the mods in armor is really lame all around. I'd much rather be able to, you know, customize my gear the way I want it.
